We really enjoyed staying here! The hotel is walking distance to many shops and it was beautiful are the area. The lady at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating and she even left a note out with our key when we got in past the check in time!

A quaint older motel. Clean and quiet. The shower is “ cozy” but functions well and is adequate. The steps upstairs were steep and somewhat difficult to manage while carrying things upstairs. The person who greeted us was very nice. Yes we would go again.

The room was nice and large. The bed was very comfortable so we slept well. It had night stands on both sides of the bed!!! It’s an older hotel so we had a bit of a challenge finding enough outlets to get our devices charged. We carry a cube of USBs for charging but there was only 1 outlet in the room that accepted a 3-prong plug. Our only complaint is that the WiFi was shaky and not very strong.

Older but clean
This hotel is older and smelled a little musty, but it was clean. The upstairs rooms has a kitchen and 2 separate bedrooms but no real sitting area other than the small kitchen table. The lobby is only staffed for a few hours a day, but there is a phone number to call for service, which was very friendly.

The second-floor room says it has "half ocean view" but it's entirely blocked by houses. Can't be helped, though. Very spotty wifi.

Very small room. The room smelled like a cleanser. Not good. Carpet and bathroom seemed clean. Lots of wood. Few places to put luggage off the floor.

The place was great. It was the perfect space for two of us. I only put a star down in general because the room we got was not what it looked like in the pictures. We still enjoyed our stay and recommend it to anyone.

Clean, Cozy & Convenient
We typically start our days travel early, often arriving at our motel before check-in and have to kill time before we can get into our room to relax. The staff at Cypress Tree allowed us to access our room early which we greatly appreciated. Also, we have a small dog, so we were grateful that their pet fee is reasonable and covered our 3 day stay. We visit the Central Coast several times a year and we will be staying here again.

It was exactly what I thought it would be, it was very inexpensive, so I wasn’t expecting much. The room was small, but it worked for the two of us, as we weren’t staying long. There isn’t any room to unpack. It was convenient and close to everything, the staff was great. Love the town.

The moment I got there, I could find nobody to check me in. Then when I finally got to my room, the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke was enough to make me walk back out. Let’s not even go into all the mold in the shower. I left within minutes. Do not stay here.
