The property is older, but very well taken care of. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast about the same as any other small hotel.

The carpet in the room was torched. Bed was comfortable enough. The window AC took a long time to cool down the room. There were a lot of long term residents, so if your ok with kids playing outside and making noise it ok.

The hotel is not in great shape but the price was right. The walkways are crumbling and the fountain was dry but the rooms were comfortable enough with some somewhat recent upgrades, a working AC and TV. Couple issues with the bathroom, water filled soap/shampoo bottles and a small roach nest under the wash cloth on the soap dish holder and in the corner of the ceiling, nothing we couldn't work around and not the best of visuals.

I would not recommend this hotel. We arrived late, and the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. There was also no soap in the bathroom. The biggest problem has been the complete lack of communication. It has been about ten days since checkout, and my $100 deposit still hasn’t been returned. We only stayed overnight, left the room in excellent condition, checked out at the front desk, and returned both key cards. I haven’t received any explanation for the delay. I have called repeatedly, left voicemail messages, and emailed without receiving a single response. Thankfully, I booked through Expedia, and they are helping me recover the deposit, but even they have been unable to reach the hotel. Poor air conditioning and missing basic amenities were disappointing enough. Having to chase my deposit while every message goes unanswered makes the experience extremely frustrating and unprofessional.

Great place and will stay again.
