« A notebook was provided with every detail about the property imaginable, along with appliance manuals. Property was spacious and comfortable! Just remember to hold the handle up on the exterior door while engaging the deadbolt! Wonderful location to Cellardyke and a quick walk to Anstruther. Would’ve liked to had more time to walk the Coastal Path. »

« The Shore is a very cosy and comfortable one bedroom cottage/flat. It is very well-equipped, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. It was very easy to communicate with the host and nothing was too much trouble. « There was nothing to like. The area was dirty, unsafe. The host and VRBO would not reply to us to let us in. We were left without a place to stay at 6 PM at nite and had to drive all the way back to Glasgow for accommodations. Extremely disappointed in Expedia and VRBO for leaving us stranded. Be aware! »

« We have been coming to this area once or twice a year for 23 years. My son and his family, live in the area. We are from the United States. We prefer the self catering rather than the bed and breakfast type places because we are jet lagged and tend to sleep in. We also don’t eat a large breakfast. « Came in from The USA for a trip with members of our golf club. The location to St. Andrews and the golf in the local area was tremendous. Cannot be beat: 20 mins to the old course // other great golf courses within a 5 or 25 minute ride. Great location in town, 10 minute walk to the beach, with really different food options. « Hotel okay but nothing special... Lack of towels in our room was annoying.. It was late and I didn't want to down in the lift to ask for more.. Basic room looks like a Youth Hostel with no soft touches or fittings... Colour scheme isn't exactly soothing... The empty first floor is a worrying feature for lone women entering in the evening..
