Grab a blanket and a warm drink and sit out on the patio to catch some early morning rays. Please note: The area our home is located in does not have cell service. Wifi is present but moves at a slower speed. As a result, our property is not conducive for remote working. Close to great hiking and the coast, Less than 20 minutes to Carmel and similar to spots in Big Sur. Very close to the famous Bixby Bridge. Our hosts were lovely and had great suggestions for stops and hiking. We celebrated our anniversary here and loved every minute! Such a cool hidden canyon and feels a world away. ##### Dan A. The trees surrounding the cabin are absolutely beautiful. The drive down the road to the cabin is absolutely magical. The only thing missing that could have elevated it is a hot tub for the cool, quiet nights. BONUS: Cool banana slugs come out at night on the patio. Great place to stay to hike and explore Carmel-by-the-sea or Big Sur. There is no cell signal, but there is wifi, and a landline. Bring a sleep mask if morning light wakes you and you don't want it to! The sky lights are amazing, but you will wake with the sun if light is a problem for you.
