The living room has plenty of seating where you can sit back and relax with your loved ones while watching a movie on the 60-inch flat screen TV with surround sound. If you're looking for a great night's sleep, the master bedroom as well as the second bedroom both feature new pillow top California King beds with fine quality linens and blackout shades. The master bedroom also has a sitting area with a 50-inch flat screen TV and a surround sound system. Whatever the temperature is outside, you'll be nice and cool inside thanks to the central air conditioning, or warm and toasty due to the central heating. As wonderful as the rental is, you'll love getting out and enjoying Carlsbad, and there is certainly a lot to see and do even within walking distance. Take a five-minute walk or bike ride down quiet streets to get to the beach where you can go swimming or just stick your feet in the sand and relax all your worries away. Everything you need for fun in the sun is in the garage where you’ll find beach chairs, bicycles, boogie boards, and toys. You won't have to worry about entering the house all sandy as there's a warm water shower in the backyard of the house. Not up for cooking when you return? There are several eateries that are within a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute drive where you can get some delicious food and drinks. If you would rather cook in the comfort of your beautiful kitchen, you can either head to the local supermarket or have the groceries delivered to you. Whether you dine indoors or out at this vacation rental, you'll be privy to some spectacular views. When you want to explore beyond Carlsbad, a 10-minute drive on the Interstate will take you to Legoland, Four Seasons Aviara Golf Course, and La Costa Resort and Spa. Within an hour you'll be able to get to Sea World, Del Mar Racetrack, San Diego Wild Animal Park, casinos, Disney, Knottsberry Farm, and more. We care about the safety of you and your guests, and as such, this duplex is not suitable for children as it is upstairs and has a balcony. Should you have any questions, please feel free to ask. House was clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed. Host was responsive and helpful. This place is always a winner. Well stocked, clean, modern, and comfy, with fabulous ocean views. Location on the lagoon is quieter than Carlsbad Blvd, and although the walk to the beach is a bit longer, it's still within walking distance and worth it to enjoy the less busy neighborhood. ##### Doug H. The ocean views are stunning but you are on a quiet road, not the highway. Five minutes from the beach and an easy walk to Carlsbad Village for a donut from The Goods or whatever other shopping/dining you'd like to do! The unit itself is super comfortable and spotless with a well-equipped kitchen, so we could eat in or out. We definitely plan to return! ##### Margaret S.
