Because we have stayed at this home many times over the years, a few things were not as we have the pleasure of experiencing on the past. 1\. Fire Pit on the Riverview deck 2\. The back deck was not organized (table and chairs were stacked and not cleaned)…the owner was present and had his tools in the deck area making it awkward for us to allow children to play. 3\. The oven took an extremely long time to pre-heat and the warmer drawer did not work. 4\. The house vacuum left more debris on the carpets than it picked up so may need maintenance . I realize the recent storms have had a negative effect on beach area homes and I understand what a toll this has taken on this pristine environment. Nov 17, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy Very convenient location if you want to walk and explore Capitola. It was a 2 minute walk from downtown and 3-4 minutes to the beach. Over night parking (for 2nd vehicle) at Village was a short 5 minute walk past the police station / Capitola Museum. The home is located so close to the beach that we could hear the waves and seagulls in the mornings. Great, convenient and nice place to stay! Would definitely book again. ##### Jonas S.
