« This place is truly amazing! We were greeted by one of the owners who went over the specifics. He pointed out an eagle sitting in a nearby tree just waiting for her dinner to swim by in the river bordering the yurt. So comfy, quiet and secluded. I would definitely stay here again. »

« Nous avons apprécié nous retrouver en nature dans ce lieu si calme avec une vue magnifique et de beaux couchers de soleil. Il y a tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner et même quelques aliments pour dépanner le premier soir si on a oublié d'arrêter à l'épicerie. Il faut bien sûr un véhicule à quatre roues motrices pour monter la côte et il peut arriver que le wifi ne soit pas accessible mais ça ne dure pas longtemps. »

« This was a great adventure. It might not be for everyone but it sure was for us. There is a bit of a hike to the yurt, which made for a peaceful and secluded stay. Andrea and Clay greeted us and showed us around the place which was beautiful. There is a river right out the door that we swam in, and the yurt was so cozy inside. »

Little playground for the kids was a nice touch, especially when the parents were trying to pack up. We did notice that the fridge didn't seem to be cleaned from the last guest. « Mentioned some maintenance observations and was told these were in the listing. But not when I booked. One shower not working, no laundry. There were 2 other showers though. Otherwise the place offered many sitting areas inside and out. There were helpful tips about fire regulations.View of lake may be an overstatement. Yes, could see a bit. No direct access.Highlight was seeing a fox trot across the lawn at twilight. »

« Sandy and John are what Cape Breton hospitality is all about. Their well appointed home has everything you need and more. The magical path to the beach is lit with fairy lights and although a fire ban was in place during our visit we enjoyed their deck fire pit on crisp October nights. « This cottage is very cute and authentic and totally private. It is secluded and has such a beautiful viewsIt is up a relatively steep hill, but very accessible by car. The interior is low tech, but that’s not what we were looking for.It is still cozy and practical.The kitchen is fully furnished. « Very nice cabin in secluded location in the woods, with a lake access. The cabin is in new condition, has very well equipped kitchen and is nicely decorated. Kayaks were available to use by the guests. The property manager was easy and fast to reach when we had some questions. Overall a very good experience. »
