The area is away from the city noise but at the same time only a 10min walk to the city centre for the Cathedral and the highstreet. The perfect balance. It is also only a 3min walk from the Canterbury city Roman walls, the castle, Canterbury EAST train station, an ALDI supermarket and the best fish and chips in the city 'Pappas' You can park your car too with a dedicated parking space. The room has a King's sized bed, a cabinet, a wardrobe, bed side tables. There is plenty of room for your items and there is fiber-optic WI-FI. The kitchen is fully furnished and the breakfast bar, dining area is great for cooking your own meals. The bathroom has a spacious shower and there is underfloor heating you can use too. There is also a utility room that you can use with a washing, drying machine and iron. The place is a welcoming choice for working remotely as well, as there are lots of plug sockets around, good internet and lighting overall in the apartment. Organic tea, coffee, oatmeal and other basic pantry is available and will be included for you too. Your home away in a historic and beautiful city! The flat is in a quiet area, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and just a short walk is an Aldi. The bed is comfortable and the shower has some of the best water pressure of anyplace in England I have stayed. Dom was quick to respond to any inquires and was a perfect host. A wonderful apartment, exactly as described, the photos do not do it justice. The perfect place to have a rest, unwind and enjoy the sights of Canterbury and surrounds. The property is in an excellent location, just a short walk to Canterbury City Centre. The provision of a washer/dryer was an extra bonus! We walked with our luggage from the close by East Canterbury rail station. Walking into/around town to see the cathedral, roman ruins and abbey was easy. Dom was an outstanding host, answered all our questions and gave us some great resturant recommendations. We enjoyed meals at Posillipo Italian, Cafe Des Ami and the Good Shed. It was easy to do laundry and the kitchen was supplied with what we needed. There was a light sensor for the door when we got back late so we could see to enter. If we’re being honest we didn’t really like the area of the property but that may be because we’re not used to a bedroom being right on a street. The kitchen is well kitted out,although I'm not sure about leaving opened jars of food in the cupboards , who knows when they were opened. ?The bed whilst quite comfortable did make a few noises when moving about not one for a honeymoon couple !Finally while a TV in the bedroom is normal these days I personally would have liked there to be one in the kitchen/sitting area. Everything was great. Fully equipped with everything we could think of, easy to use (nothing weird that we had to figure out ;-), and the bedroom was charmingly decorated. The location is a bit out of the city centre, so we got our steps in, but part of the walk into the centre was along a historical wall, so that was fun. It was clean and well appointed with the all-important parking space, as it is a premium in the narrow roads outside. Fans are provided but it is quite warm in the summer. We vonden het alleen jammer dat er alleen een tv in de slaapkamer was. Maar dat was het enige voor ons. Appartment was right in the middle of town 10 minutes walk into the center. Bright and clean and equiped with all necessities. Dom was always available when you had a question or needed information. Online listing was accurate to the property. Manager was very responsive and gave great information. Location was excellent – quiet part of town, but roughly a15-minute walk from all the major attractions, downtown areas, and the bus / train stations. Five stars across the board.
