"Everything was great! Lobby was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious!! Staff was super helpful. The only thing I would note is that the TVs have no streaming but I don’t know if that’s useful information or not-"
"Wonderful hotel to stay in for a couple of nights. Reasonable price, walking distance to downtown. Our only complaint was that there’s no coffee available until 7 on the weekends and 6:30 weekdays. We’re early risers and it would be great if coffee were available in the lobby early. It’s quite a drive to get it outside of the hotel and the coffee shops nearby weren’t open early either. Aside from that, we had a wonderful stay."
"Second stay at a Moxy and still holds up to the same standard set in my stay in Chattanooga, especially friendly staff at check-in and bar. This location is walking distance to great food and top notch breweries. Highly recommend!"
"Started out with a 45 minute wait to check in even tho I had paid in advance and confirmed my reservation.
Staff was almost nonexistent. Too big a place for so few staff, first day our room wasn’t cleaned. Valet parking took forever and there was no where to park yourself.
Pool was too far to walk to and there were no evening hours(plus it was tiny).
Spa was going to be another 250 a day so you were not able to use indoor pool.
Rooms were sparse, with no amenities other than an old coffee machine( not very clean either) and an old tiny refrigerator.
Would have been far better off at the nearby Marriott!"
"Our room smelled like a wet dog. Where i love animals, I don't appreciate smelling them while we sleep. We won't be staying at a hotel that allows pets if there aren't dedicated no pets rooms. Another room in our party had mold in the shower ceiling and the fan wasn't working so they moved rooms."
"This hotel was in a great location to easily walk downtown or hop on the freeway to head further out. Our room was clean, had everything we needed, and felt pretty spacious for the two of us. Just a note - our room did face the hotel across the street and if you don't have one of the shades down, you can see in their room and they can see in your room. The mattress wasn't our favorite, but that's a personal preference. Parking was generally readily available in the hotel lot ($25/day self parking) during the week, but it got pretty crowded heading into the weekend.
The front desk staff was fantastic, always kind and friendly. We had a couple questions during our stay and each time, with different staff, they were super helpful and went above and beyond to take care of us.
We had a week-long stay and had breakfast on-site 3 days of our stay as a quick option before heading out on adventures. It was great! Wonderful service and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. We also tried the rooftop bar for a light dinner one night and were a bit underwhelmed. The views were nice, cocktails were good, but service was slow and we didn't feel the food was worth the price. Perhaps we just caught a bad night, others seem to love it.
Overall, we would stay here again if we ever return to Asheville and would recommend it as a great option for others."
"The place is amazing! Very secluded. It’s really quiet. So peaceful that you don’t need to do anything, just sit at the deck and enjoy the view and the quietness."
