Staff is friendly and accommodating. Our room was quiet, the bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was nice. The floor was a bit strange and off balance and the bathroom smelt of urine but I can overlook that for the price and location just once. The air conditioner was a little loud all night, but we still were able to sleep through it. There is no elevator so if you have a lot of luggage and are not on the first floor be prepared to climb some stairs, but the staff was extremely helpful, very professional, and very friendly. It was so relaxing having the windows open with the nice weather and hearing the water rush by. The room and inn itself was very clean. The beds were comfortable. I do think that the room itself could use some updating and attention in the bathroom specifically. Overall, the location of this Inn though cannot be beat. We were so close to everything that anything (shopping, food, waterfront) was no more than a 5 min easy walk away. Yet, this was quiet and secluded! Our room was on the first floor RIGHT ABOVE THE BABBLING BROOK! We had no idea we'd be getting this, and we LOVED it! We kept the window open even though the temperature was cool. Very romantic and slept like a baby. This is an old Inn, and as result is a little worn, but the room was large and had all the essentials. The location is perfect, parking super-close and easy. Right in the middle of everything. You could spend a bunch more at other Inns and be a short block closer to things, but why? I don't think there is an elevator, if you are on the upper floors. I couldn't find a coin-op laundry in the building, and the desk was seldom staffed to ask.
