This newer log home sits on 1.17ac and overlooks beautiful Georgetown Lake and the Pintler Range. Main floor: master bedroom with full bath, guest room with queen bed and full bath, generous living room with traditional fireplace, family room with year round Direct TV, spacious kitchen, central island, dining area and large deck with propane BBQ and stunning views. Lower level: Large family room with walkout porch and traditional fireplace, high quality billards table, large master bedroom with king bed and full bath, a boys room with a queen bed and a twin/full bunkbed, a girl s room with a toddler bed, 2 twin beds, and a twin/full bunkbed, and laundry facilities. Lake access: There is a public boat launch at the Phillipsburg Bay Camppgroud about a half mile from the home. The home also includes access to a dock and shore station which is shared by some of the neighbors. This is a 5 min walk or a very short drive with room for 1-2 parking spots. We spent hours on the balcony over looking the lake. The bbq was a plus. There is a firepit area where the grandkids enjoyed roasting marshmellows. This area also over looks the lake. The house is well stocked with everything you would need for your stay. Lots of kitchen utensil, pots, pans, grills, dishes etc. It is a short walk to lake access. I would definitely stay here again. The house worked great for our family size. We would plan to book the house every summer from now on except for the cleanliness issues. To be completely truthful the house was very dirty. We had to wipe down all the kitchen appliances when we arrived. Food smudges were on the stovetop and the oven appeared to have years of burned on food and grease The glass doors were covered with hand prints and smears. The carpets badly needed cleaning and the furniture needed wiping down from food and hand prints as well. Cleaning logs is a huge job and not one regular housekeepers have time for, but the logs were SO dusty throughout the house. The house has so much potential to be an amazing vacation rental, but the cleanliness issues really need to be addressed especially at the cost per night. ##### Jim R. Exploring Philipsburg is fun in any season. Great kitchen, adequate sleeping spaces, but expect to bunk up after the big king and queen bedrooms are occupied. Kitchen gets 5 stars! ##### Mickey L. The only thing that could have been improved is the number of pillows on the beds and the towels in each bathroom. Maybe we didn’t search well enough for extra pillows and we did find more towels, but would have been nice to have stocked in each bathroom. The fireplace was amazing! It was an awesome jumping off point to drive to warm springs, Philipsburg, Granite Ghost Town, & gravel biking. The house had all the little things you needed, including towels for cleaning the kitchen, extra blankets, firewood, and other little things you wouldn't think to bring.
