"Evening time staffing was sparse. We waited quite a while to be checked in. Otherwise, staff was kind. Overall, hotel was clean. Carpets for sure need better vacuuming in rooms and our room smelled strong of stale smoke and Lysol(to cover the smoke). We had to turn fan on to air out the smell. That was disappointing. Bedding and bathroom were very clean. Mattresses and bed frames are old and could use updating. Breakfast area was nice. Pretty standard food options, but plenty of options. Pool area appeared nice and clean. We did not have time to use it. Parking lot is very well lit and hotel was quiet for sleeping. Not a 5 star place, but definitely not bad for the dollars spent. "

Communication was OUTSTANDING.He took the time to personally check us in and ensure that our stay was pleasant. I look forward to working with Matt on our next stay in Burlington!"

"We were thrilled with the quiet, comfortable, spacious room. It was great for sleeping and for reading. The house and property are beautiful and fascinating historically and architecturally. The hosts were incredibly kind and even helped us out with a car issue. Breakfasts were generous and delicious--quiche, coffee cake, fruit salad, etc. We had a great time and were well pleased."
