"In contrast to El Nido there is little attraction to staying in Central Coron. So being 10/15 mins tricycle ride ( at 60p per person) is close enough. The rooms were clean and spacious with excellent AC and good quality TV if you want to hook up a lap top for a late night movie. Breakfast was adequate but tailored to local guests and got tired after a few days. The stand out for us was the OUTSTANDING pool, which any 5 Star hotel would be proud to have. It’s really a little haven and chance to total relax from the Island hopping. As usual in the Philippines the staff are great. Warm friendly and always willing to the extra mile. The kitchen is open until 9 and serves a broad range of dishes to meet most people’s taste, either on your balcony or on the pool side terrace. The pool alone was worth paying the slight premium to more central hostels/pensions and for couples and families it’s perfect. Thanks to all the staff for making our trip so relaxed."
