Many good books for reading or perusing. Comfortable queen bed. Cozy gas fireplace, off street parking. Bowdoin College with its Art Museum and Arctic Museum, and Maine Street in Brunswick are 2 blocks away. Wonderful local coffee shops, brew pubs, wine bars, many restaurants, antique shops, galleries, historic sites and 3 Farmers' Market in walking distance. Freeport outlet shopping 15 minutes away. Nov 2, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Relaxation In Brunswick Maine - 2023 Our stay was wonderful. The cottage is very easy to get to. The host was friendly and accommodating. The cottage has just about every thing you could want. It was clean, the furniture was very comfortable. It is very convenient to the great little downtown area, where you'll find good choices of eateries, really nice gift stores. They have market days on the green, where you'll find all kinds of fresh vegetables, flower and much more. The town itself has a lot of culture. We found that people were very friendly and were happy to help with direction and such. Also, you have the public transportation to get around to other locations rather quickly...like Portland, Freeport, Bath, etc. If you are looking for a place to relax, sight see, enjoy a nice selection of restaurants and some really great cafes', then this location is prime. Oh and you can also visit Bowdoin Collage where you'll find music, art, theater and just a nice campus to stroll. This cottage is within walking distance of all the places I mentioned. Again, I want to say how much we loved the cottage, especially after a full day of touring and site seeing. If you do go, we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
