"This place is ideally located across from the train station and close to shops, and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the shared bathroom cleaned daily. The bed had an electric blanket on it which would be great in winter, though I made use of a lighter blanket that was available instead as I am a hot sleeper. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that there is no aircon in the bedrooms while there is everywhere else - though a fan was provided, it didn't really do much."

"We had a wonderful stay. The house was exceptionally clean, thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed and more, and incredibly cozy. The amenities truly elevated the experience, making it feel both comfortable and effortless. The location is outstanding, with easy walking access to town as well as the stunning Blue Mountains National Park. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again."

"The property is obviously old and it shows. Expedia told me I can expect a continental breakfast, none were offered and absolutely refused. I booked a superior room and given a room overlooking a metal roof and a crane and was offered to a further upgrade for additional fee of $70 per night."

"A lovely hotel to stay. The rooms were clean, spacious and very cosy. Staff were amazing especially when our Gas fireplace was not working, they went out of there way to get it fix which at the end they just gave us another room with a fireplace working That’s what we call customer service."

"We had a great weekend stay at the Kyah and would highly recommend it. The Hotel is really tastefully decorated and has a huge number of amenities. It's also in a great spot for exploring lots of different lookouts and bushwalks. The in-house restaurant Blaq is the best in the area, and we also had a great breakfast the next morning. We loved our stay and will be back."

"Silvermere is ideal for people who travel by train or who drive to Wentworth Falls. There is parking on the property and the station is within easy walking distance. It is not far from many walking tracks and tourist spots. A lovely breakfast, including fresh seasonal fruit, granola, rhubarb and yogurt, hot breakfast, and freshly made cappuccino was offered. The house is historic, on the crest of a hill, with a wonderful view. You can spend time in the stunning garden or comfortable lounge area. There are books, a piano and games to enjoy. You can walk or drive to nearby restaurants, cafes and shops in Wentworth Falls, Leura or Katoomba. We stayed in a room of the house with our own bathroom up the hall. The host made us feel comfortable and we had everything we needed. Highly recommended."
