« My husband and I stayed at this little cabin for a long weekend with our dog. We had a great time! The house is cozy and comfortable and we found it to be as described by the host. The hot tub is very nice and we also used the fire pit and grill. We absolutely loved the use of the kayaks, the channel and two lakes! We watched the sunset over the lake from the kayaks which was beautiful. Bring bug spray and expect to get a touch muddy but it is totally worth it! There is a nearby grocery store...

« Don and his wife were the best! Both super helpful and very hospitable! We plan on making a yearly trip to this cabin . The cabin itself was very clean, super cozy bed and great scenery! It comes with everything you need which was super helpful and they also had an amazing dvd collection so we were able to watch movies at night. »

« My husband & I came up from Indiana for a long relaxing weekend & the cottage was perfect. We really enjoyed sitting on the back patio & drinking coffee or enjoying a good book. The kitchen decor was *chef’s kiss* When the neighborhood lost power for a few hours on our first night, the hosts were superb in communicating about the situation & even sending updates from the electric company. We would definitely stay here again! »

« My husband and I stayed here to visit family in the area. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Melissa was very friendly and responsive to any questions we had. The location is quiet and relaxing and we enjoyed fires at the firepit both nights. I very highly recommend this cabin and we are planning to come back in the fall to see all the fall colors. »

« When i got to the address it took a while 15 mins to locate the cabin, a local lady helped me find the sun-bleached signs by the entrance, she told me go straight back on the road and there it was. I could tell by looking around it was not clean. I cleaned the outhouse and swept the floor in the cabin. Overall it was quite and comfortable . Needs a table and chairs .Jerry »

« We had a lovely stay at this property - it had everything we needed for a couple relaxing days. Our kids enjoyed swimming in the shallow water and taking the kayak and paddle boat out. There was plenty of outdoor space to enjoy, and the inside was clean, nicely finished, lots of natural light with beautiful views of the lake. The lake wasn't loud or overly busy even on a mid-summer weekend. A great spot to relax. We rented their pontoon boat and really enjoyed being able to cruise around on the...

« Such a cute and cozy place with beautiful views of the river. We enjoyed mountain biking, fishing, hiking, and kayaking during the day and loved relaxing on the outdoor swing and by the firepit at night. Melissa was so friendly and welcoming. This peaceful resort has all the right ingredients for a memorable getaway. »

« The Eagle’s Nest was an awesome place to stay for a week! The Blue Heron property was immaculate. The network of stairways was fun for our youngest to play hide and seek on. Three docks to fish from and plenty of beachfront. Even on the hottest days we could still find shade on the beach. The lake was great, not busy. 7 of us stayed and we were comfortable. Way worth the trip! »
