The beautiful scenery and novelty of staying in a historic cabin made up for it. It was good for one night. The cabins are pretty close to each other. I was rarely using the bungalow, as most of my time was everything to visit was a 2 1/2 - 3 hour drive 1- way \~ 100+ miles from Brisco, BC to Lake Louise,/ Moraine Lake, Lake Louise Gondola, Banff NP, Banff townsite in Alberta. Half of my day was in Lake Louise/ Banff NP region. The other half of my visit was driving \~ 100+ miles back to Brisco, BC. I found the bungalow to be comfortable, for those few hours of my visit when I was there (mainly eating breakfast, sleeping, & eating dinner). The front porch light was out during my visit. I found the bungalow was fully self- sufficient with kitchen & bathroom. I had no need to use the fireplace for heat for meeting my needs. The windows were good to use for cross- ventilation to keep the bungalow cool during the daytime. Personally, I felt that the bungalow was over-priced $ for value, ,(since I was hardly ever there during the daytime for all of the days of my visit).
