« Our first time in the U.P. so we were going in blind. House was exactly what we needed for our group. If your looking for fancy, this isn't the place but definitely adequate and was well stocked with everything you would need away from home. The road is very busy and loud with lots of truck traffic so that is something to consider if you like peace and quiet. The house sits back off the road though. The secluded beach makes up for the busy road and makes the location well worth it. »

« Mary Lynn was so welcoming and a wonderful hostess. She had beautiful lilacs and homemade banana bread and very nice card waiting on our arrival. She even helped us celebrate our anniversary with another beautiful card and bottle of wine! I would recommend to anyone this was a wonderful home away from home to stay for the week we very much enjoyed ourselves, and will be returning for our next trip thank you Mary Lynn !! »

« The one-room cabin was overall wonderful. The view of the Trout Lake is beautiful, and the cabin is centrally located for any destination you want to get to. The host was polite, and answered every question or concern we had almost immediately. The little heater in the bathroom was a big plus. Towels and blankets were plentiful and the entire cabin was cleaned with some cooking utensils which made making dinner easy. Overall amazing stay! »

« House was extremely clean with comfy furniture and well stocked. Lester got back to me with answers to my questions right away. They even had local attractions and restaurant brochures to look at for making plans. The coffee, snacks and chocolate was a great treat!!! The location was great, close to town, and the trails. I couldn’t find the blow dryer that was listed. I didn’t pack mine because of the description, I was disappointed :(. A second bathroom would be great, but we made it work...

« Rental property on the inside was as photographed and described. Everything was clean, orderly and in good working condition. Place was cute and quaint. The only downside of our visit was out of the control of the property owners. The outside had thick swarms of what looked to be large gnats. After doing some research, they are midge bugs which come out in the spring starting in April and are at their worst peak in May which is when we stayed. They don't last all summer and they are everywhere,...

« We truly enjoyed this property! We stayed at the Bluff Beach Hutch. The home is huge, had a wonderful view of the water and a beach just a few steps away, with privacy! The home was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed plus more. The owners were fantastic! We would stay again in a heartbeat! »

« We rented for a snowmobiling long weekend for 3 couples, and the place was perfect for that purpose. The issues we had were very small and insignificant (e.g., no basket in the coffee maker). I very much recommend this place, particularly for snowmobiling. »
