Invite the entire family or a group of friends to experience all that Brevard, Transylvania County, and Western NC has to offer. Two flat screen TVs, cable, WIFI, central heat and air, fully equipped kitchen, upstairs refreshment center, washer/ dryer and plenty of off-street parking makes our home an ideal spot for your family get-together. The large front porch has rockers and porch swing for morning coffee... or ... grab some afternoon sun and watch white squirrels play from the back deck or upstairs porch. Our home is located less than 5 minutes from Brevard Music Center and Brevard College with the Porter Center that hosts many world renowned artists as well as local talent. There are many other local venues hosting local and regional musicians. We are less than one mile to downtown Brevard’s favorite restaurants and shops. Upstairs is a great set up for kids. Morning coffee time was on the huge front porch with rockers and a swing, watching the white squirrels frolic. It worked out wonderfully. The gardens are lovely, the kitchen opens onto the deck, there are plenty of sofas inside and the home is well stocked with supplies. Our family was visiting the area for a memorial service. The house was perfect for all 7 of us. The master bedroom with the bathroom was perfect for my elderly parents as it was very accessible for their needs. My adult children appreciated the privacy of the upstairs bedrooms with the kitchenette and TV room. Our host, Charles, was a delightful man. He and his wife live next to the property and it was so nice to visit with him out in the yard a few times. Charles also has a sweet dog named Rocky who came over to visit us a few times which I absolutely loved. Charles told us the house is 120 years old and that he grew up in the house. Oh, and the big, beautiful trees on the property were incredibly magical. I loved waking up to the sound of a bird symphony each morning.
