![We traveled across Afsluitdijk while touring in the Netherlands.  It was truly impressive to see how the small nation has kept the sea at bay (no pun intended).  At this stop near the middle of the structure, there is some history that explains how each stone was installed by hand, along with a great many other impressive metrics. « Super endroit pour aller prendre le bateau pour les îles. Parking dans la rue (15 euros la journée, gratuit le dimanche) Chambre 35 très grande donnant côté rue et port, au 1 et étage. Effectivement les escaliers sont raides. Le montant de la taxe de séjour est de 2 euros et non 1,20 euros comme indiqué sur expédia. Il faut aller chercher les clés à 5 minutes à pied. Au lieu de donner une adresse, il faudrait plutôt donner le nom du restaurant / hôtel ! Cela serait beaucoup plus simple. »
