The main attractions are the canals themselves, the historic church, and the general tranquil atmosphere. It's very walkable, with paths and bridges connecting different parts of the village.

Couples looking for a relaxing and scenic getaway will find the village centre ideal. You can enjoy strolls along the canals, perhaps rent a small boat, or simply relax by the water. The slower pace of life here is great for unwinding.

For those interested in water sports or exploring the wider Frisian Lakes district, staying near the Molkwerumervaart canal provides convenient access.
