"After booking, I read some less than positive reviews and considered changing hotels. I'm glad I didn't as we found everything to be just fine, from the quiet spotless room to the buffet breakfast. Close enough to walk to train station and shopping area"

"The Queens is always fantastic. First class rooms, customer service, cleanliness, facilities, room service, location and convenience. My wife and I stay here approximately once a month and there are always smiles when we walk in, whoever is waiting to help. Dean must be the friendliest person on the planet! "
"Great overnight stay at Clayton Hotel. Room comfortable and spotless and could open the window for fresh air. Reception staff helpful with car parking.
Walking distance to city centre."

"The room was very clean, modern, and comfortable. My room looked out on the front entrance rather than the main road so was very quiet.
The hotel bar was pleasant with windows and an entrance onto the main street, and it wasn't overly expensive.
The buffet breakfast was excellent, and I'd say was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had anywhere. The food was good quality, well cooked (where applicable), and the selection very good.
The location of the hotel was very convenient for visiting the city centre and the dock area. It was only 5 to 10 minutes walk into the heart of the city - I didn't need to use a taxi or bus, and didn't move my car from the car park until I checked-out.
The only slight criticism I'd have is that the car park charges are quite high, though I think they are cheaper than other local car parks."
