A minimum $500 fee may apply if evidence of smoking is found. Additional costs may be charged for items that cannot be restored or cleaned. The grill must always be used in an open area and placed safely away from any structures. Only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight. Any additional visitors are the responsibility of the primary guest. Parties or events are not allowed unless approved in advance by the host. Unapproved gatherings may result in early termination of the reservation. Guests are asked not to eat or drink in or on the beds to help maintain cleanliness. This is a privately owned property. Battery-operated candles may be used. Decorative items such as glitter or paint that are difficult to remove are not allowed. Please respect quiet hours between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM to avoid disturbing neighbors. The minimum age to book is 18 years old. For your safety and the security of the home, exterior cameras are installed at the front and side doors. These must not be disconnected, covered, or tampered with. Altering or interfering with electronic devices may result in removal from the home. Use of fireworks on or near the property is not allowed and may result in immediate removal. If anything is found to be broken or in poor condition upon arrival, guests must report it within four hours of check-in using the booking platform\`s messaging system and photo documentation. This helps us ensure everything is in good shape at check-in. Guests are expected to clean the kitchen and any used utensils before leaving. Trash should be removed from the indoor bins and placed in the designated outdoor bins. Guests should maintain tidy personal spaces. If extra towels are used, please launder and return them to their original location. Guests are not permitted to attempt repairs on the property. Please report any issues to the host or maintenance team for assistance. There was parking for three cars, and enough bedrooms for our multi-generational family. Stoneham offers cafes and restaurants within walking distance.However, there is considerable noise and light from the constant traffic along Montvale Ave. The upstairs bedrooms that face the avenue catch light from headlights and noise from accelerating engines all night, making sleep difficult. Our daughter had to buy a sound machine and extra sheets to put over the window in order to get any sleep. When we suggested to the host that opaque, noise-reducing curtains would help in those rooms, he said since we were visiting family “this wasn’t a surprise neighborhood situation.” There are two space heaters in the home. Since these pose a safety risk, we didn’t use them. If it was necessary to keep them on all night and day to prevent frozen pipes, we should have been told! As it was, the pipes in the kitchen froze and we lost water in that room.The furnishings are bare-boned, ceiling lighting only, so the feel is industrial, not cozy. We asked for bedside lamps to provide safety for folks needing to get out of bed in the dark. We hope the host makes some simple improvements, because his investment, and the comfort of his guests, are well worth it. ##### Ann C. Everyone had a place to rest their heads and chill out before the big event. The house is located perfectly with many amenities close by. ##### Judy H. We didn't spend much time there but it was very comfortable. The weather got very cold for a few days, below freezing and we had no hot water upstairs. I contacted management and they had someone out within hours, ON A SUNDAY and started addressing the problem. I would stay here again. ##### John T. Stairs felt a little dangerous so something to keep in mind with small children or mobility issues. Ample parking. When we had an issue with the shower maintenance came and fixed it within a half hour! Our family enjoyed the space and felt very comfortable there! It was affordable and served our needs better than a motel. The property was exactly as advertised. Location was convenient-- easy to find and access, close to our funeral. Looked to us like fresh paint, newly stocked kitchen supplies. The kids loved the hidden door bedroom. Great access to downtown Boston and Fenway Park. Very accessible. Home is adjacent to a very nice neighborhood, but is on a busy street. I worked from the family room and had no problems with street noise whatsoever. Felt very safe. Only issue that we had besides the busy street was that it is so new that there are limited supplies that we expected from previous VRBOs. No sponges , paper towels, salt and pepper, foil, tupperware, etc. Minor stuff that will no doubt accumulate the more the place gets rented. Very close to a grocery store with a starbucks so it wasn't a big deal. The home does share it's back wall with some kind of a business that has a garage. Never saw anyone, but cars would come and go while we were there. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there. ##### Ian J.
