It was a good stay but for the money we expected a little more. The location was good and it was well kept. However, the room was a little dusty, couldn’t figure out how to use the hot tub/bath. The manger was friendly, however I felt at one point that I as bothering her. It was a busy morning for her though serving breakfast, etc. so perhaps she was tired. Not sure if I would go back honestly.
Beautiful updated 1800's mansion in a great location on the hill just above Boothbay shops. We had a great stay there and the included breakfast was excellent. Our host Kristie did a great job of making sure everything was taken care of and we had a very comfortable stay there. Overall, could not have been better.

Nice views and very comfortable interior. The B&B was allowed to be uncomfortably chilly. My room shower was small and difficult to use.

The inn keeper was friendly. However we found some hairs and dust clods in the room. Also we could not connect with the WiFi. And the tv was confusing, requiring 2 remotes.
Beautiful place, quiet, comfortable, well appointed, extremely gracious host and very short walk to the shops and restauraunts. Highly recommended.
Steep stairs if you are on the upper floor, though.
It was a half-business/half-pleasure trip for an industry lobster bake. Stayed for the weekend, and this quaint B&B was really perfect for our short trip. The room was large and clean, and afforded terrific views of Boothbay Harbor, which was only a few hundred feet down the slope to the Harbor Center.
Loved the location and charm of the property. Kristi was fantastic and really took care of us with information and a great breakfast. She just got the property and is slowly making wonderful upgrades. The house sits at the highest point in Boothbay so the views are very pretty sweet!
Harbor House Inn is perfectly located, on the top of a hill with an amazing view of the Harbor. The room was large, neat and the bed amazingly comfortable. Kristie was very nice and helping (and cooks delicious blueberry pancakes).
Beautiful place on a hill overlooking the harbor and town. Awesome decor including a map collage of the entire Maine coast along the stairway. Our suite had a private balcony perfect for coffee in the morning. 3 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Amazing breakfast and hospitality. Will go back for sure.
The management was just opening up the season. We were the Seasons first customers. The manager was very accommodating whenever there was a problem. Even gave us a free upgrade.
This was a special trip and much time and care was taken in mapping out an itinerary and selecting our lodging in Booth Bay Harbor. Our room was exactly as pictured and had a beautiful water view. Hot beverages were always available in the breakfast area. Having past personal experience managing a B&B, we would have expected some additional comforts. For those guests who must restrict sugar intake, there was no artificial sweetener available in the coffee/tea area, just sugar. We had to ask for ice once and decided not to ask again. It would have been nice to have easy access to ice and/or a mini fridge with an ice cube tray in the room considering the price of the room rates. We had trouble accessing the wifi and Kristie was a little short with us saying there should have been a card explaining this on a table in our room. There was no card in our room. After she verbally gave us the login information and also with the help of another guest, we were able to access the internet. It is not easy to run a business like this, but guests do have high expectations.

Nice Inn very close to town.
The Inn was in a very convenient location and a very short walk into town. The Inn was very clean and the owner was delightful. We were served a delicious breakfast each morning. There is a beautiful deck that wraps around two side and being that the Inn is on top of a hill over looking Boothbay the view is just spectacular. My only knock is our rooms bathroom was tiny.
This inn was a special find. The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable (mine had a private porch with Adirondack chairs). Friendly owner made us feel welcome and the breakfast on the large, 3-sided porch was delicious. A really great spot.
