This chic, updated cabin is nestled in the pine trees of Sprucewold, a 100-year-old, summer, log cabin community and is sure to provide an unforgettable Maine experience. Relax on the deck with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and enjoy the peace and quiet of the woods with deer, wild turkeys and the tranquil sound of Woodcocks.

Or, take advantage of restaurants, boating, shopping and breweries, just a mile away in downtown Boothbay Harbor. Whatever you choose, its sure to be a memorable experience.

Once inside, you’ll see that it has been furnished with an original dining table, but most pieces are newly updated and includes a Restoration Hardware sofa and chairs. The original fireplace is still operational, and the mantel displays a 40-inch flat screen TV that has basic channels, or you can stream your own services if you have them: Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, etc.

The kitchen has been updated and includes a new refrigerator, sink, small appliances and countertops. It is perfectly designed and stocked with all the supplies you need to fix a simple breakfast or a gourmet dinner. A new propane gas grill is available on the back deck.

Amazing cabin!

My mom and I loved everything about the cabin. Walkable to downtown Boothbay Harbor, portable AC was great as the temps got up around 80 while we were there, styling and amenities were all great! I would recommend this VRBO to anyone heading to Boothbay Harbor.

Enjoyed our stay!

Highly recommend Lola’s lodge! Perfect location for accessing Boothbay Harbor area. We enjoyed the local restaurants and e-biking around town. The cabin is spectacular with everything you need and more. The space was clean, welcoming and allowed us to relax for a few days.

Great cabin in great location!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lola's Lodge. The cabin is nestled in the woods but close to town and was a great place to relax after a day of exploring the area. It has all the amenities you could possibly need, is nicely decorated and very comfortable. We were intrigued by the history of the cabin and the area and look forward to a return visit!

Amazing Boothbay Harbor Escape

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed, the beauty and functionality of Lola’s Lodge, a picture perfect log cabin. It’s perfectly located nestled in the pine trees of a 100 year old summer community, but a close walking distance to the quaint harbor-best of both worlds! Paul was a very responsive host and made the booking easy. I can only recommend as wonderful summer vacation home.

Lola’s Lodge was the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a beautiful day exploring Boothbay

The lodge is beautifully decorated and you feel right at home in the space. The bed was extremely comfortable. The cabin is well appointed with everything you need for a fantastic stay. We will be back!

Magical cabin in the woods

Every little detail is that through at this cabin in the woods. Other than a lack of suitcase storage, there was nothing that we couldn’t find that we needed. It’s charming, cozy in the rain, and an easy walk to town. We also loved the bay beach area at the bottom of the hill.

Best Friends Get Together

My best friend and I hadn't seen one another in over two years. I had heard so many wonderful comments about Lola's since I live in Boothbay. We decided to stay at Lola's to get away from all distractions, catch up, relax and chill. It was a real girl's "retreat house". Everything we needed to be comfortable and pampered was in the lodge. Shopping and restaurants were just minutes away.

Even better than advertised

I've stayed in many vacation properties and this one exceeded all expectations. The log cabin was recently renovated and is beautifully decorated inside. The mattresses, pillows and linens are so comfortable that we joked about bringing the beds home with us. Despite the woodsy setting, downtown Boothbay Harbor is only a 5 minute drive away. Will definitely book again.

Lola's Lodge was the perfect retreat for my husband and me. Every detail is carefully selected for convenience and quality. It's clear that the owners care about the property AND the people renting the cabin! The outside porch/deck added extra space to what could be tight space for more than 4 people. The stairs leading to the cabin could be too much for some people.

Definition of exceeding expectation

We have rented from allot of VRBO/Homeaway properties and this by far was the top of the list, every detail and need seemed to be part stocked/available. The rustic charm was expected from the area, yet the attention to detail Paul and his wife have put into the property is truly above and beyond.. Our stay was a perfect time of year when the foilage and weather made this a perfect maine getaway weekend. My only drawback with giving this such a great review is the possibility of more people renting it when we plan to go back :-)

Lola delivers!

My partner and I spent our anniversary week exploring Maine. We saw some beautiful sunsets, ate delicious lobster, took some lovely sails… but perhaps no experience was as fabulous as our time at Lola’s Lodge. Paul was an attentive and gracious host, responding quickly to our emails. When we arrived at the lodge, we were amazed that the place looked even better than the photos (…and those photos are pretty darn terrific!) The cabin It’s just a short drive, a few minutes, into town, and only a 10 to 15 minute walk. During our stay, we had one rainy day, and there was so much to enjoy at the cabin, it was one of the highlights of our trip. There’s a grill, and plenty of cooking supplies if you enjoy cooking at home and eating on a beautiful porch. Connect your mobile device to the speakers in each room for music or stream a film on the tv above the fireplace. I would highly recommend Lola’s lodge to anyone looking for a mellow and magical experience for their Maine getaway.

Perfect (and beautiful!) log cabin on the coast of Maine

This newly updated and pristine cabin, nestled in the woods, was THE perfect place for our weekend getaway in Boothbay Harbor. Great location, a 5min drive or 25min walk into town. The area provides many restaurants, activities, boating excursions and shops. Don’t miss the day trip to Monhegan Island! Pack your clothes and the rest is taken care of! There definitely was no lack of amenities - fully stocked kitchen with pans, baking sheets, plenty of dishes, new appliances, including Keurig and Nespresso (with the coffee & sugar too!), cleaning supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, sheets & towels, games, puzzles, and even extra fans. They literally have it all covered! We had warm summer days, but the cabin stayed cool and the ceiling fans at night were great for circulating the cooler Maine air. The decor provided the perfect New England feel, and we were blown away by the history of the cabin and how it was restored back to beauty - we even met the neighbors who put love and hard work into rebuilding the home! The space was cozy and held our group of 4 adults without issue. We didn’t want to leave, and could have sat on that front porch forever! We will be back to visit again soon for sure!
