Camel's Garden Hotel
5/5 Excellent
"Our stay at Camel's Garden was exactly what we needed. We booked a suite and it was huge, very comfortable and we looked forward to coming back to the room each night. Staff was very friendly. For the price, it would have been nice if parking had been included, especially with the suite, but the $20 charge was okay and not excessive. Breakfast was just only okay with essentially only bagels and yogurt parfaits, the they did provide salmon, cream cheese, tomatoes, etc. For the price of the room(s), we thought there might be more protein choices. The breakfast staff was great though and it was sufficient. The setting of the hotel is perfect just beside the gondola to San Sofia and Mountain Village so it's well positioned. The hot dog stand next to the hotel also was a plus with a great Chicago-style hotdog. Be sure to take the river walking path just behind the hotel as well. "Off" for mosquitoes is recommended.
When we come back to Telluride, we'll be sure to stay at Camel's Garden."
