While the house was recently restored it still beams with old time charm. The home sleeps 12 people comfortably and has two full kitchens and two full baths. It is nestled in the middle of a 300 acre working cattle farm just minutes from restaurants, wineries, and activities. Built in 1832, the house was the childhood home of Sam Hildebrand, who was an infamous civil war guerrilla fighter. Our entire family, with kids of all ages, loved our stay here. Interior of home is adorable, clean and had all the amenities we needed and we loved making s’mores by the fire pit at night. We done a surprise birthday for a friend of ours who lives in bone terre, we had a wonderful time and the property manager was very quick to respond to questions, i would definitely tell all of my friends and or family to stay here if they find themselves in the area.
