Only negative was that I couldn’t sit on the balcony to enjoy the ocean view because the room next door was chain smoking and it allowed dogs blew over. Not a fault of the hotel, but definitely made it not as great. Tried enjoying coffee on the balcony…nope"

"We absolutely loved this place! The sunset on one side and the beach on the other was great. Watching the tide rise and fall on the Cape Fear reserves was a nice surprise. We hadn't been to this area since the early 90's so it was good to be back. Parking at the restaurants was a little tricky, but the Wrightsville area is definitely worth a visit. Our room was a privately owned condo and was nicely decorated, with a small library and games. There wasn't a lot of storage or closet space, but I'm sure every room is different."
