Inside, warm up around one of three indoor gas fireplaces and settle into the leather couches. The visiting chefs in your party will enjoy the full kitchen with a gas cooktop along with the spacious dining area with plenty of seating. The lower-level living space features a full bar with an additional refrigerator and dishwasher, and there's plenty of fun to be had in the game room with its 60-inch TV, air hockey, and 12-foot shuffleboard table. WHAT’S NEARBY A short stroll from the cabin is the community pavilion with private access to the Toccoa River, North Georgia’s premiere trophy trout river. This cabin is also just a short drive from McCaysville, Copperhill, and downtown Blue Ridge. Whether you like to golf, fish, hike, bike, white water raft, enjoy the river, or just need to relax, you will love this cabin! THINGS TO KNOW A high chair is provided for younger guests. A vehicle is necessary to reach this cabin. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy. Quiet hours are from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Security camera details: There are 2 active surveillance cameras on-site, one at the left of the front porch facing the driveway and one on the right of the porch facing the yard Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). When spending what we did on this cabin, you wouldn't expect to have to purchase TP, paper towels, garbage bags, hair dryer, cooking spray and other "necessities". At a minimum, there should have been powdered creamer and sugar packets to avoid an early morning run to the convenience store. We were thankful for overcast skies because 2 of the 3 AC zones were not working. The filters also needed to be replaced as they were black. But when we reached out, the communication was great. The maintenance guy was on it and so nice. He called in the AC guys and apologized. These things happen. We understand and were impressed with the way it was handled. Other than that everything was wonderful. The cabin is even better than advertised. I loved that there was room for a big groups in all the common areas. I especially loved the easy clean up and check out procedures. Some places on VRBO have pages of things to do. That was not the case at Whispering Woods and it was so appreciated.
