Bear Rapids on the Cartecay

This adorable cabin right on the beautiful Cartecay River is the perfect place for a quiet mountain getaway or a small family vacation. On the Cartecay River, you can go tubing or canoeing, you can fish right off of the dock or you can just kick back and relax in the hot tub and enjoy the sounds of the rushing river. There is also a firepit at the riverside for enjoying a campfire, roasting marshmallows, or warming up on a cool evening.



Inside the cabin, you will find all of the comforts of home including a wood-burning fireplace, 48” flat screen SMART TV, and wireless internet. The king master loft has its own private bath with tub and shower and a 32” flat-screen TV. There is a queen bedroom located on the main level as well as another full bath. The updated kitchen is open to the living room and a separate dining area. Down on the terrace level, there is a twin bedroom with 2 twin beds and a game room with a 32” flat-screen TV, pool table, dartboard, multitude 60 game arcade game, and plenty of board games and books for your enjoyment.



Bear Rapids on the Cartecay is conveniently located in Ellijay where you can visit one of the many apple orchards, wine vineyards or shop and dine downtown. If you're planning a holiday vacation, don't worry! This property is decorated for Christmas the month of December!



The cabin is only a short distance to Downtown Blue Ridge where unique shopping, fabulous dining, and plenty of southern hospitality await you.

Bear Rapids on the Cartecay is a beautifully decorated 2 bedroom (plus loft), 2 bath pinewood cabin that sleeps up to 6 people and offers the following:

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:







Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans. Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-washcloth per person listed on guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dustpan, mop, internet, and propane gas grill. In addition, we provide a complimentary start-up supply of Toilet Tissue (1 roll per bathroom), 1- roll paper towels, 4- kitchen garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent for at least 2 loads. Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items. The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.



Required Fees include $105 Cleaning fee, $65 Damage Protection Waiver, processing fee, guest service fee, and 15% lodging tax
