"What you’d expect from a Village hotel. Clean, convenient and busy. Food offerings were basic and fairly pricey, bar was busy and with plenty of sports shown on the array of TVs. Hotel is conveniently located between Bournemouth and Christchurch and has good capacity. Regrettably they have no secure bike storage and don ’t permit them to be taken to rooms."

"We were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our room.... We were also shown the fire escape so.we didn't have to walk out suitcases through the hotel. The shower was great, the bed comfy... The cafeterias near the coffee machine downstairs were a great idea as the coffee machine wasn't working. Can recommend and will definitely be booking again if we're in Dorchester"

"We stayed in a family room on the first floor which was spacious and clean with a sea view. The furnishing in general was adequate but quite dated. This was reflected throughout the hotel. The bath was rusty which meant we relied on the shower which was good. The balcony door wasn’t secure with a flimsy catch. The radiator although not used was very rusty in need of maintenance. The decoration in the public areas was better in general it felt like the hotel needed a refurb"

"Lovely old hotel and our indulgence plus room was beautiful and elegant we loved the deep copper bath where we indulged in a luxurious soak on the night of our stray together with the hot powerful shower the next morning"
