"My stay at Hotel Everett was unplanned. I was taking a new route and saw no hotel advertisements. I pulled into a gas station and pulled up Expedia which directed me to the Hotel Everett I was delighted when I pulled into the lot. From the guests I met outside to the welcoming staff inside, my trip was greatly enhanced by this stop and stay. Manager Kim Snead was delightful and very kind to this tired traveler who had left Hershey PA at 9 o’clock that morning and who had made the reservation 20 minutes before. The food (grouper) and drinks (brandy old fashioned which rival any I’ve had in Wisconsin). Carlisle’s has excellent food and service. The lounge was definitely welcoming and there was a live singer. I will definitely be back the next time I head north. It is beautiful. I actually inquired about getting married there later this year. Only open since March, the boutique hotel was it all figured out."

"I messaged host a couple times prior to check in and never got a response outside of the automated pre-arrival messages. There were some water bugs inside the house when we got there which I know is normal around the water, but as a previous host, there are ways to combat them a bit more with some better exterminator services. Same applies to the outrageous amount of yellow jackets outside the property. Outside of the natural forces - the property was as described and very comfortable and perfect for our little family plus my baby brother visiting. I’d absolutely book here again and highly recommend this awesome spot for any other traveling family or even couple looking for a getaway!!"

"This is the perfect lake cottage. We enjoyed our week. Fully stocked with everything we needed. Loved having our boat at the dock too. We will definitely rent again! Renee is always a pleasure to work with!"
