« We rented this property for a birthday getaway. The host picks you up in a pontoon boat and shuttles you over, she was very nice and helped us load and unload everything including my toddler. The weather was great, the slide and kayaks were utilized and everyone had a blast. The kitchen was fully stocked with most cooking things you could ask for. The main bedroom's bed frame may need fixing, perhaps the previous guests broke it during their stay. Otherwise everything was great! »

« At the last moment we decided to make a quick trip to Kalispell Montana to look at some puppies that were available. Amber's apartment was available so we stayed there. The VRBO was clean and had absolutely everything that we needed. There was even a bed in the loft and a sofa sleeper in the living area where more people would be comfortable. « Great location to get in to Big Fork or go down to Bison Range. Eagles ( both adult & juvenile) perch right outside the living room windows! We used the campfire space twice and there was plenty of wood (even dry) everywhere for our use. Water was cold this time of year so did not take advantage of the water sports but so much equipment provided & sports chairs to enjoy the views down from the dock. Kitchen had everything we needed. I love the layout of the home as downstairs made available...

« Comfortable & well appointed with some issues that needt to be addressed, such as switches & light switches that don’t work; the fireplace & air-tight stove needed to be cleaned before use & windows do not appear to have been cleaned for some time, part. the large windows…ent rance door latch does not operate properly. The above comments are not so much complaints as they are observations…that being said, we would not hesitate to return…a nice location! »

« The home was in a great location to the main road, near the Harbor and Restaurant. Close to the state park and about 45 minutes to Glacier National Park. Lori our Host was amazing. When we called or text her with questions she responded within a few minutes time. Enjoyed our vacation here. »

« Enjoyed our stay in big fork. Nice place. Clean, kitchen well stocked. Only problems were with the tvs. The downstairs tv remote was inoperable and it took several minutes for the upstairs tv to connect to the internet. All in all would stay there again. »

« This is a beautiful property in a wonderful spot on Flathead Lake that made for a perfect long weekend getaway. The owners were very helpful and accommodating before and during our stay which made it even better! The location on Finley Point was private, the accommodations were 5-star, and it had a spectacular view of the lake from the back patio and beach area. We hope to return in the future! »

« We came in to deal with some family business in the area and decided to stay at Doug & Mimi's cabin. They were very accommodating, as our flights were all late. They have a very clean and accessible cabin. It's far enough to get some glorious views (sunset and star) and close enough to be in town quickly. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for some solitude, but amenities near by. Doug and Mimi were awesome, informative and hospitable. First class host! »

« Déception, nous avions demandé une chambre avec vue sur le lac. C'était vrai mais en rez-de-chaussée et donc, dans un motel, la fenêtre ne donnait que sur les gros 4x4 garés devant. Nous avons demandé à avoir une chambre à l'étage, la responsable nous a proposé le changement pour un supplément très élevé. Nous avons refusé, elle a proposé un supplément un peu moins élevé. Nous avons refusé. Un genre de marchandage pas très glorieux. Certains hôteliers auraient tendance à abuser des clients...

Confortable mais très bruyant
"Nous avons choisi cet hôtel comme nuit étape entre Waterton Lakes et Yellowstone, pour son option de chambre vue lac ne donnant pas sur la route. Nous pensions donc passer une nuit au calme … ce qui n’a malheureusement pas été le cas. Est-ce à cause du mariage fêté ce soir là à l’hôtel où à cause du fait que notre chambre était au rdc donc non loin de l’entrée du casino, nous ne le savons pas. Nous n’avons pas pu dormir avant presque minuit, quand les claquements de portes, les rires et éclats de voix dans le couloir se sont enfin calmés (aucune insonorisation entre la chambre et le couloir….). C’est bien dommage car ma chambre était propre, spacieuse et le lit très confortable avec une vue époustouflante. "
