"A lovely place to stay. The staff were very helpful throughout. We hosted a large family gathering for lunch and stayed over. We were accommodated in the evening with light food which was not normally available in the evening. Breakfast was very good. Parking is good but limited space."

"Really friendly staff but my room was shabby with marked, stained and ripped wallpaper. It was located at the front of the property with a lot of late night noise and light from the main road. I see many other 10/10 reviews but can not say they reflected the room I was given. The room was clean, however."

"The pub itself is a lovely spot to unwind with a drink or two. The food was also good. The room was comfortable but did feature a very small shower. I would not recommend larger people to stay here. Otherwise it was perfect for our stop over in Lyme Regis."

"This was an emergency stop over for me as I needed a break and sleep. Mattress was not very comfortable at all the bedroom was tidy and clean. Breakfast choice was either McDonald’s or Costa heated sandwich …not exactly what I would class as a breakfast and being a motorway service station everything was excessively expensive as well. but as I said, this was an emergency night stay and it served its purpose perfectly for me."
