  • Ski in, ski out: Big Powderhorn Mountain's slopes are right outside the door of this 1,000-sq-ft condo in Michigan's Western Upper Peninsula. Inside: two bedrooms, a full bath plus a half bath, a fully equipped kitchen, Pac-Man, and a wood-burning fireplace with firewood included — because a fire after a long day outside is non-negotiable. Outside: a hot tub on the lower deck and two community firepits.

The connecting pairs are 1+2, 3+4, 5+6 and 7+8; no other combination connects. Attention to detail and amenities were above and beyond. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers in the shower, extra plug in fans in each bedroom, welcome gift, basket filled with water/food bowl doggie bags and things for your dog friendly stay. The stocked utensils/appliances/kitchen essentials were the best I've seen in a rental. Full knife block set, tea kettle with a range of teas, multitude of seasonings, toaster, oven with full range stove top, dishwasher, coffee maker with coffee and creamer to use, full set of nice pots n pans, crock pot, blender, electric hand mixer etc.... whatever you are trying to cook, just bring the ingredients, they got everything else. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Will be visiting again in the future 10/10

Great Location in UP

Stayed here for four evenings with friends and family to ski at Snow River. Location is great, unit is super cute, well appointed, and a good value. The layout, with bedrooms and bath on first floor and living/dining/kitchen upstairs is perfect for groups w/kids and teens. Would stay here again.

Ski Trip

We have stayed at Alpen Villa many times over the years, and it is a great place to stay with ski in/out access. The new owner has made some updates to furniture, lighting, dishes, & linens which was nice to see. We enjoyed the fireplace & hot tub along with the new TV's. We will stay here again for sure

We enjoyed staying here, the pacman game was an unexpected treat that came in handy when a blizzard came through.The ski-in ski-out was super convenient and the hot tub was clutch at the end of day. Overall we would definitely stay here again!
