The house is well situated, a short walk to the centre of Bergerac, the boulangerie and supermarket. We had a few problems with the boiler cutting out, even in the middle of a shower. Contact with owner was not easy but she did send a plumber round, by then we had fixed it ourselves. A big problem for us was a hole in the living room ceiling, approx 6ft x 3ft. This exposed the floorboards and joists in the upstairs front bedroom. We were not informed of this by the owner before our departure from the UK. And the owner did not inform us of the reason for this on arrival, we did not have much choice as we were already there! We put up with it. what are your thoughts on this. Inutile d’utiliser une voiture pour se rendre au centre ville, profiter des nombreux restaurants, des activités du bord de la Dordogne (Gabarre), spectacles ou faire ses courses.
