The location is ideal to see the Anne of Green Gables sites (underrated--the Cavendish Post office has a free Anne museum :) ). Honestly can't recommend this place enough. »

« We had a fabulous stay! The cottage is gorgeous, it had everything we needed, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and supplies, there were plenty of linens and towels. A nice surprise was the availability of beach chairs in the outside deck box. It’s a quiet location, with a great view. We can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back! »

« This was a family trip to celebrate my mum's 80th birthday. It was a house and setting worth the big event. The views are unbeatable and the house was phenomenal. What a beautifully decorated and inviting place. The kitchen was wonderfully supplied with pots, dishes etc. We had great meals that we prepared there and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. It is very close to all the L.M.Montgomery and Anne of Green Gables sites. I would love to stay here again. Next time I would plan more time to sit on...

It was very hot in PEI during our stay so the A/C on all floors was a big plus. We used the pizza oven for a fun night. The kids loved the beach and the big open space provided plenty of room to run. " So I’ve reviewed a couple hotels so fare and this one is the worst. And I’m not one to be hard on a hotel. First the check in, the lady barely understood an English word I was saying, then the room… I really didn’t like anything. The beds are really old, god they make a lot of crackles every time you move, I’m 5,11' and the mattress was too short for me. I’m not sure how this is possible since I’ve never had this happen before. The bathroom was fare from clean, there is rust a lot of places, the bath was dirty and stained, and so was the floor mats. The A/C didn’t work and there was so make gaps between the A/C and the walls that the miskitos would come in at night. Everything is old and not well maintained."
