"Nice, clean place conveniently located in downtown Bellingham. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Love the character of the hotel too"

"The room was very clean and bathroom included a standalone shower. They asked me how often I wanted my room cleaned and towels replaced as well as bedsheets changed and stuck to that schedule. Room was mostly quiet; however one night some guest had an extended conversation in the hall and as it continued on, it became disturbing. There was plenty of outlets for electronics and microwave, fridge and hot pot were great to have. Grocery store was nearby. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was ok but coffee was weak. Amenities included hot tube, sauna and pool but I did not use them. All in all, if you’re a working stiff on a budget this is a great place to stay. "

"Our original room was a bit disappointing in its outlook, so the wonderful woman at the front desk worked to find us another room - which was terrific. Spa is lovely."
