Very centralized in an area walkable to shops, food & importantly the forbidden city. Eric the hotel staff was so helpful to direct us to great shopping for jade & local food spots. Also to order room service when we arrived late. He spoke great English & really took the time to help us out on each occasion.

This hotel is close to everything. You could walk to the forbidden city if you want or take a uber( DiDi in China). There’s a lot of shopping and food choices. Train stations are also close. The breakfast buffet is good. The staff speaks decent English. I’m a solo traveler great location

Overall, a good stay at Peace Hotel Beijing. The hotel is admittedly a bit dated, but still perfectly acceptable. The location is excellent — very convenient, with two different metro line stations nearby, and very close to Beijing APM, which made getting around really easy. The room was cleaned daily, and the staff were friendly and helpful — communication in both Chinese and English was generally fine. Service attitude was positive, and they were always willing to assist. Special shout-out to Jack at the tour desk. He was extremely clear and knowledgeable in helping me figure out my options for visiting the Great Wall, and he was very attentive when helping me book the tour. He even called me personally to follow up after his shift changed, which really shows his sense of responsibility. Excellent service! Would recommend this hotel, especially for the location and the helpful tour desk.

The location is very convenient. The breakfast is tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only thing that needs improvement is the strong mold smell when running the AC during hot, humid weather, which makes our respiratory system feel bad.
