This apartment is the perfect location! No need to worry about parking, just walk the block and a half to the front door of the center! This location is PERFECT. We walked to the riverfront for sightseeing, walked to PJs Coffee and were able to walk to the event center (all less than 10 minutes walk). That being said - there were some events at night that brought a lot of traffic. People were outside "pre-gaming" and hanging out. I don't know if I would go walking around by myself at night but during the day I felt completely safe. Check-in was great, Paul was responsive and let us know if we had any issues. We came in late Friday/early Saturday morning and were able to check in with the lockbox code. We requested a late checkout on Sunday and Paul was kind to allow us an extra hour. If you are wanting a 5 star luxury experience, this is not the place for you. If you want somewhere to get a decent night's sleep and a warm shower, this is perfect. The building is older and it feels like an older building. The beds were comfy and clean. The bathroom was clean but the walls and fan could use a good scrub and detail brush. We didn't cook or use the kitchen so no comments about that. When I drove up, I didn’t know what to expect. The complex is very unassuming but we opened the door to the apartment and it was just the cutest! Beds are comfy and the kitchen had everything you could think of in the way of cooking and dining materials. The bath towels were fluffy and perfectly sized! We never had an issue with parking right in front and this cute rental is close to everything! LSU, the Mississippi and great dining! Cannot say enough about the host who was readily available for any requests and even helped out when my daughter left her jewelry behind. He immediately took action to assist.
