The best thing about the Mercure was the staff! Every single member was polite, courteous, friendly and helpful. The hotel has two wings and one side seems newly refurbished and the other seems rather tired and a bit jaded, but the standards were equally high in both. The food was very good, although the evening meal menu was limited choice the presentation and quality was good. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice in juices, cereals, hot cooked food, toast and croissants.

Chewing gum under dinning room table not very busy so why did the service take so long around 30 mins for food and 10mins for drinks
