If you enjoy fishing, there was plenty of fish caught right off the pier from morning to night. The kids did catch lots of fish; perch, sunfish and even a northern right off the pier! We did rent a boat and also caught plenty of fish around the lake. Grocery store and gas station close by; within 5 minute drive. There were a couple minor things that could have been better. Some of the pans in the kitchen, could be replaced. The non stick coating on a few of them were in pretty bad shape to where I did not want to use them. There was one good large frying pan. Cooking for a large family, it would have been nice to have at least one more. There is a charcoal grill on the balcony and when we went to use it, the grate was so rusted and needs to be replaced. I did not want to put any food on it. I did need to contact the host regarding a couple of the bedroom TV's in not getting logged into Roku in guest mode per the directions in the manual at the house. I tried calling first and was on hold for several minutes on automated system. I hung up and tried texting and got an AI response back twice. Then was told someone would call me. By this time we ended up signing up for our own Roku account. I did get a call the next morning, but we already took care of it ourselves. It would have been nice to have actually talked to a person. Overall the property is beautiful and we did enjoy ourselves outside of a few minor things." It was a beautiful cabin minus the main shower - everything was great and in working clean order. we would book again if the shower which works, but needs updating, is fixed up."
