Built in 2010, The Cedar Lakehouse blends rustic charm with modern comfort, featuring three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a walkout family room, and a screened porch overlooking the water. The cabin and lake combine perfectly for makin’ memories with family and friends. Step outside to enjoy four kayaks, a pedal boat, a private dock, and a fire pit for evenings under the stars. Inside, relax by the fireplace in a soaring cedar‑lined living room with floor‑to‑ceiling windows, or cook in the fully equipped kitchen and grill on the Weber. Year‑round adventure awaits: boating and swimming in summer, snowmobiling and ice fishing in winter, and brilliant fall colors that light up the shoreline. Whether gathering with family or friends, The Cedar Lakehouse offers the perfect Northwoods escape where memories are made. At 314 acres and 24 feet at its deepest, Gilmore Lake is noted for its great fishing. Fish species include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye. Accessible via a public boat landing on County Road E, the lake offers ample space for recreational boating and paddling. THE AREA: Explore the greater Northern Wisconsin’s “Lake Country” within minutes of the cabin. The Cedar Lakehouse is centrally located to the attractions and communities that define being “up north.” You will find shopping, dining, and attractions in Minocqua, 18 minutes away, and in St. Germain, just 12 minutes away. Lake Tomahawk has a popular meat market to prepare for that evening meal on the lake. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We scheduled a trip among old friends and it was lovely. Plenty of room to spread out and relax while chatting with great views and a comfortable environment. The kitchen had everything we needed, but we also enjoyed hitting a couple of restaurants and supper clubs within an easy drive. We did manage to lock ourselves out (through no fault of the property owner or management) when we went down to the lake, but Shane was very helpful with that, as well as organizing the return of a left behind item.
