Gather your group and escape to The Bird's Nest at Sugar Mountain, a stunning luxury mountain home perched at over 4,500 feet elevation in North Carolina's scenic High Country. With over 5,000 square feet of living space, this upscale retreat is designed for unforgettable family vacations, group getaways, and multi-generational gatherings. Featuring two full kitchens, multiple game rooms, a hot tub, fireplaces, and spacious decks, this home offers every amenity for both relaxation and recreation—all just minutes from premier ski resorts, charming towns, and breathtaking attractions.  
  
This home is ideally located less than 3 miles from Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, 5 miles from downtown Banner Elk, 10 miles from Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and 15 miles from Boone and Blowing Rock.  
  
The Bird's Nest comfortably accommodates up to 10 adults and up to 7 children. On the main level, there are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master suite includes a king bed and a large ensuite bathroom with dual sinks, a walk-in shower, and a jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom features a king bed, and the third bedroom includes two twin beds. These two rooms share a hallway bathroom. On the lower level, you'll find a second master suite with a king bed, TV, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. Another bedroom on this level features a queen bed and TV, with access to a full bathroom located in the hallway. The upper level offers an open bunk-style layout with a variety of beds, a large sectional, and a TV—perfect for kids. Please note that there is no bathroom on the upper level.  
  
The main level boasts a wall of windows, soaring vaulted ceilings, and a cozy stacked stone gas fireplace with a large TV mounted above. For those needing to stay connected, a private office with a desk and high-speed internet makes working remotely easy and convenient. Step outside to the main deck where you'll find a brand-new 6-person hot tub, plenty of seating, and a gas grill—ideal for relaxing and enjoying the fresh mountain air.  
  
Downstairs, the fun continues with a second living room featuring a gas fireplace and pool table, a second fully stocked kitchen, a poker lounge, and a full game room. The game room includes a ping pong table, foosball table, and a card table—guaranteed entertainment for kids, teens, and fun-loving adults alike.  
  
Both kitchens are outfitted with stainless steel appliances, including gas ranges and dishwashers. They are stocked beyond the basics to support everything from simple breakfasts to full holiday meals. A dual-function coffee maker offers both drip and Keurig options, so bring your favorite ground coffee or K-Cups. The dining table on the main floor seats six, and the kitchen bar offers an additional four stools. Two full laundry areas, each with a washer and dryer, provide added convenience for longer stays.  
The home includes seven total TVs, five of which are Smart TVs with streaming capabilities. All TVs provide access to YouTube TV for live channels including sports, news, and entertainment.  
  
Outdoor living is just as impressive, with both the upper and lower decks featuring gas grills and plenty of seating. A private hot tub and a cozy firepit lounge on the upper deck offer the perfect spots to unwind after a day of mountain adventure.  
For those looking to experience the best of the NC High Country in style, The Bird's Nest at Sugar Mountain is the ultimate destination.

Ski options include Sugar Mountain Resort just 2.3 miles away, Beech Mountain Ski Resort at 9 miles, and Appalachian Ski Mountain at 19.2 miles. Grandfather Golf & Country Club is only 3.9 miles from the home, and Kidd Brewer Stadium at Appalachian State University is 14.8 miles away.
