It was so quiet and peaceful with an abundance of wildlife to see right outside the door. The owners home was close but you would never know and don’t let that discourage you. I never met Tricia but communicated with her via text. She was incredibly pleasant and helpful. I did meet Jon outside and he was a great character and very welcoming. The town of Bandera was exactly what you would expect of an old western town and even had a reenactment shootout on Saturday. I will never need to visit anywhere else in Texas just straight to the stronghold for a quiet time with Tricia and Jon.
