"I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu in Istanbul and unfortunately my experience did not meet the expectations of a five-star hotel. The room I was initially given had a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom, which made it very uncomfortable. I had to request a room change because the odor was quite unpleasant. In addition, the hotel seemed poorly managed in terms of occupancy and service during my stay. For a property that claims five-star standards, the overall experience felt far below that level. Another major disappointment was that the swimming pool was closed, and the staff did not offer any alternatives or solutions for guests. It felt like there was little effort to accommodate or compensate for the inconvenience. Overall, the stay did not reflect the quality or service one would expect from a five-star hotel, and it was quite disappointing."

"The negative reviews (Taksim location) are definitely competitors sabotage! Ignore the noise and book it! Expedia has the best price! From live chefs cooking stations to pristine rooms (sanctuary of comfort), and Iconic Landmarks Views, it’s an incredible value! Highly Recommend at The Marmara Hotel in TAKSIM District in Istanbul (5 stars hotel). The BREAKFAST - bounty array of fresh dishes, and made to order stations that cater to every craving; premium quality of food, bread, fruits and drinks, simply unbeatable price! The LOUNGE ACCESS is a magnificent view to landmarks with affordable value for all they provide- the curated drink menu and gourmet small plates not to mention the artisan pastries, made me feel like VIP! The SPA & The POOL The Starbucks next door. We were ASTONISHED by all the beauty of the hotel (better than Central Park’s NY hotels). The videos & website’s hotel cannot capture the magnificent views, the superb hospitality all the staff who provided a royal treatment in a sophisticated atmosphere!
