The fun does not stop after a day at the beach...enjoy your own large private pool area, hot tub, and game room, or unwind on the sundecks to watch the ocean waves or to stargaze at the dark Hatteras Island night sky. Daddy Mac's Beach Shack will have you returning for years to come! Ground Level: Ground-level amenities include a spacious pool area with charcoal and gas grills, 2 outdoor showers with hot water, a fish cleaning table, a basketball hoop, and a driveway that accommodates up to 6 vehicles. As you enter the home, you are greeted by a spacious game room with a pool table, a cable TV, and a wet bar with a refrigerator and a microwave. There are also 2 bedrooms on this level. Bedroom #1 is a King bedroom with a TV and access to a full bathroom off the hallway. Bedroom #2 is a spacious King bedroom with an ensuite full bathroom, a TV, and access to the covered pool deck. Mid Level: The middle level has an additional sitting area with a TV, three bedrooms, and a laundry area. Bedroom #3 is furnished with two Twin beds, and bedroom #4 is furnished with a King bed and a TV. Bedrooms #3 and #4 share a spacious full bathroom. Hard to tell which room is the master, probably the one on the first floor which we didn’t like so we took the queen on the second floor so we had a view better than the pool. Beds aren’t very comfortable in general. Heated pool was a great investment! Be prepared to buy/bring all the basics- provided 1 trash bag, 1 toilet paper in each bathroom, no dish soap, no hand soap - for a 7 night stay. Also there is a rug in the kitchen that you cannot remove so be prepared to carpet clean that every night if you cook - who puts a massive white rug in the kitchen? All in all, it was a good stay and cute place, but we’ll be going somewhere else next year. ##### Carla C. The views are absolutely beautiful. It is a pretty long trek to the beach over the dune so be prepared for that if you have a bunch of stuff. The house was well stocked. We had all the pots, pans, and utensils we needed. We used games and puzzles that were provided and loved the pool table. The house offered everything we could possibly want for a beach vacation. The price, location and amenities were spot on. Steps away from the beach with an amazing view of the ocean. When not on the beach, we were able to have fun in the pool, the hot tub or playing pool. The kitchen has been recently finished and was stocked with everything we needed. Very clean with an open floor plan to the living room and upper deck. This is where we spent most of our time. One of the bathrooms connected to a second floor bedroom was recently renovated and looked great. It would be fantastic if the bedrooms and other bathrooms could have a similar upgrade to take this home to an even better level. The top floor was open concept with kitchen, living room, and dining room in one big area with large windows on three sides, and a large deck giving a great view of the dunes, ocean, pool, sunrises. The bottom two floors housed the 5 bedrooms, with a sitting area on the 2nd floor (with TV for game playing) and a pool room/wet bar on the bottom floor with sliders out to the pool. We opened all doors and windows up cut off the ac and within an hour or so it was just fine. the pool and hot tub were great and there was ample room for our group. would do it again!! ##### julee w. Pool and hot tub awesome for a day dip or evening relaxation. Loved the hammock, always a cool breeze. The top floor beautiful, and the view immaculate. Town was small and quiet. Overall headed back home in a relaxed state of of mind. (Shower curtains some mildew, fans and hand rails need dusting, may want to check the deck for popped out nails.) ##### Mj M. The communication I had with property manager was outstanding. Even though the weather wasn’t great, we had a great time. We took advantage of the pool, the hot tub and most of all pool table during the cooler days. And the house was close to lots of activities/attractions like the bodie and hattaras light houses and the Elizabethan gardens and the aquarium in Manteo which were great for short day trips. And the house has been renovated and is really beautiful and comfortable. Highly recommend. ##### Shelly B.
