We just had to walk 1/2 a mile which was really convenient. The apartment was very spacious, clean with all that we needed. It is on the third floor, a straight walk up. If you have a car, I do not recommend staying here. We had to park on a lot adjacent to the building and there were attempts to break the windows overnight (nothing was left in the car). Then on our second night, while we were going to leave, my car windows had been busted out in the parking lot. Just be cautious about booking here. It is not a safe neighborhood, and the broken sliding doors are an invitation for theft and crime. Almost every night there was Police activity in the parking lot next to the building. We had to deal with homeless people each day and they mean it when they don’t leave anything in your car. The house was dirty, no dishwasher, 2 1/2 rolls of toilet paper was all that was in the house, so we had to buy more. The rooms are good size, but very few amenities. There was old food left in the fridge, eggs and other items in the freezer. Not recommended for families with little kids or the elderly. It’s 31 steps to the “loft” apartment. Using the door requires an app for your phone. The rest of the building kept leaving the main building door unlocked, which in that neighborhood, isn’t smart. Overall not a great place to stay. We had some issues with finding the parking pass but one of the hosts finally called to tell us where it was. Water and ice broken on the fridge, hdmi ports were busted in on tv, smeared ketchup and a lone press on nail found in drawers, one of the twin beds is on a steep lean.
