"This is a beautiful apartment and property! The views will knock you out and the place feels so beautifully historic with a gorgeous glamorous rustic design. We loved the animals that the owner had and even let them in for a visit. "In a word I would call this stay quirky. The apartment seems to be a place where you can just rent a bedroom without kitchen access should you choose. As a result, the kitchen cupboards are completely empty. We did find some dishes, cutlery, glasses, etc in a small cabinet which could be locked. The amenities were minimal. "The pictures do not do it justice. Truly. The views were better than i could have imagined. The perfect break from the bustle of Rome, this place was perfect. The host was incredibly helpful, very welcoming. Theres a great little market and cafe a few steps away and the bus access was super easy. Loved every minute would do it again in a heart beat! "This was a beautiful piece of property to stay at in the city of Assisi. It was in a location that was very easy to access all the major Catholic holy sites. We took the city bus line up from the train station and were within a manageable walking distance from the bus stop. There are plenty of nice restaurants and cafes near by. A major plus was having the police station just down the block, so we felt extremely safe walking around at night."
