I will follow CDC guidelines on cleaning, using an EPA-approved disinfectant for COVID-19 between customers. Thank you, George Stanley. Appalachia at its best. A mountain cabin re-created within the basement (first floor, ground level) of my home for your pleasure. Private entrance(s), covered deck/patio, open deck, great view, very private setting. The location has an East-West orientation, with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Great place to sit, relax, and enjoy your favorite beverage. The cabin is fully self contained. It has its own kitchen, bath with shower (no tub), and a small living/dining area. One bedroom with a king size bed. Centrally located between I-40 and I-26, on Busbee Mountain, the property borders the Biltmore Estate and blends in with the Blue Ridge Parkway at an elevation of 3,346 feet. It's located so close to Ashville, Black mountain, and other smaller towns to walk, eat, and enjoy. There are 2 unexpected bonuses here...George is a super wonderful person, just a great guy! And the Bears. Wow. Mama Bear and cubs were the first ones that greeted us when we turned the curve to "George's Cabin". When we turned into driveway, we were gr3ted by our Host, George, who escorted us to cabin and gave us some information about th mountains, ingcluding Mt Mitchell . George was very responsive and his instructions on how the get to the property and check in were clear. The cabin has a gorgeous view of the mountains, with a massive patio along with windows in the cabin to see the view, even from the bed. The kitchen was nicely stocked and there’s a gas bbq on the patio. The bed was comfortable and there’s plenty of fans, heaters and a window unit AC for extra cooling if needed. The location is far enough to feel unplugged but close enough to be in the city of Asheville in 15 minutes. The road to George’s property is steep but completely paved and the road is completely cleared from any debris.
